Mia plans to meet Kevin at the beach on Sunday, while the message board shows new times. They change the meeting place once, after both want to keep the plan simple. On the way, Mia reviews a short list and breathes slowly.
At the beach, the road is blocked by work. People look around and ask questions. Mia suggests moving near a sign so the announcements are easier to hear. Kevin arrives with two bottles of water, and they decide to wait for five minutes.
They talk about visiting a small cafe at noon. "If the line is still slow, we can go later," Kevin says. "Good idea. We do not need to rush," Mia answers. They watch the crowd and listen for updates.
After a short time, the line speeds up after a check. The queue begins to move, and people relax. Mia and Kevin continue with a clearer plan: one stop, then coffee, then home. The delay becomes a small lesson about time and patience.
