The New Plant

Luis buys a small plant for his desk. The leaves are bright green. The seller says, 'Water once a week.'

At work, Luis puts the plant near the window. He writes a note on a yellow paper: 'Water every Friday.'

After two weeks, the plant has a new leaf. Luis takes a photo and sends it to a friend. The desk feels more alive.
