Vera goes to the bridge before work. The air is fresh, and the street is not busy. Vera carries a small bag and walks at a calm pace. Vera starts to walk home.
At the bridge, Vera looks around and takes a short break. A sign gives clear directions. Vera follows the arrows and finds a good spot. Then Vera takes a deep breath and waits for a moment.
Mia appears and waves. "Hi, Vera!" Mia says. "Do you have a minute?" Vera answers, "Sure, what is it?" They talk about plans in the morning and share simple ideas.
Before they leave, they check the time again and make a small promise. They will meet next week at the same place. The day feels easy, and the small meeting gives both of them new energy.
