David plans to meet Mei at the library at noon. David leaves home early, so the sky looks gray. On the way, David reviews a short list of tasks and thinks about the week. Everything seems simple, therefore small surprises can change a day.
At the library, a small problem begins: the ticket falls into a gap. People look confused and start asking questions. David suggests waiting near a sign however the announcements are clearer there. Mei arrives with two bottles of water, and they decide to stay patient.
They talk about plans before work. "We can still visit the new cafe later," Mei says. "Yes, and I want to see the bookshop too," David answers. Although the plan changes a little, they keep their good mood and watch the crowds.
After a few minutes, a staff member comes and resets the system. The line moves again, and people relax. David and Mei continue with a simpler plan: one stop, then coffee, then home. The delay becomes a small lesson about time and patience, and the day turns out fine.
