Jose cannot find his keys. He checks his bag, his pockets, and the table. Nothing. He sits down and thinks about his morning.
He remembers the bakery. He bought bread and paid with cash. Maybe the keys are there. He walks back fast.
At the bakery, the owner says, 'Yes, we found keys.' She shows a small silver ring with two keys. Jose feels great relief.
He thanks the owner and buys two cookies to share with his neighbor. He will hang the keys by the door from now on.
