Bea plans to meet Maya at the bakery in the afternoon, before the message board shows new times. They change the meeting place once, although both want to keep the plan simple. On the way, Bea reviews a short list and breathes slowly.
At the bakery, the announcement is hard to hear. People look around and ask questions. Bea suggests moving near a sign instead the announcements are easier to hear. Maya arrives with two bottles of water, and they decide to wait for five minutes.
They talk about visiting a small cafe in the morning. "If the line is still slow, we can go later," Maya says. "Good idea. We do not need to rush," Bea answers. They watch the crowd and listen for updates.
After a short time, a paper notice shows a new route. The queue begins to move, and people relax. Bea and Maya continue with a clearer plan: one stop, then coffee, then home. The delay becomes a small lesson about time and patience.
