Mei plans to meet Ben at the square in the morning. Mei leaves home early, when the sky looks gray. On the way, Mei reviews a short list of tasks and thinks about the week. Everything seems simple, so small surprises can change a day.
At the square, a small problem begins: the ticket falls into a gap. People look confused and start asking questions. Mei suggests waiting near a sign before the announcements are clearer there. Ben arrives with two bottles of water, and they decide to stay patient.
They talk about plans before work. "We can still visit the new cafe later," Ben says. "Yes, and I want to see the bookshop too," Mei answers. Although the plan changes a little, they keep their good mood and watch the crowds.
After a few minutes, they decide to wait calmly and talk. The line moves again, and people relax. Mei and Ben continue with a simpler plan: one stop, then coffee, then home. The delay becomes a small lesson about time and patience, and the day turns out fine.
