Dan plans to meet Mei at the theater in the morning. Dan leaves home early, while the sky looks gray. On the way, Dan reviews a short list of tasks and thinks about the week. Everything seems simple, when small surprises can change a day.
At the theater, a small problem begins: the ticket falls into a gap. People look confused and start asking questions. Dan suggests waiting near a sign after the announcements are clearer there. Mei arrives with two bottles of water, and they decide to stay patient.
They talk about plans in the afternoon. "We can still visit the new cafe later," Mei says. "Yes, and I want to see the bookshop too," Dan answers. Although the plan changes a little, they keep their good mood and watch the crowds.
After a few minutes, a paper ticket is printed as a backup. The line moves again, and people relax. Dan and Mei continue with a simpler plan: one stop, then coffee, then home. The delay becomes a small lesson about time and patience, and the day turns out fine.
