Tom plans to meet Owen at the subway on Sunday. Tom leaves home early, because the sky looks gray. On the way, Tom reviews a short list of tasks and thinks about the week. Everything seems simple, before small surprises can change a day.
At the subway, a small problem begins: the card machine stops working. People look confused and start asking questions. Tom suggests waiting near a sign instead the announcements are clearer there. Owen arrives with two bottles of water, and they decide to stay patient.
They talk about plans in the morning. "We can still visit the new cafe later," Owen says. "Yes, and I want to see the bookshop too," Tom answers. Although the plan changes a little, they keep their good mood and watch the crowds.
After a few minutes, a simple tool helps remove the broken part. The line moves again, and people relax. Tom and Owen continue with a simpler plan: one stop, then coffee, then home. The delay becomes a small lesson about time and patience, and the day turns out fine.
