Arif plans to meet Tom at the subway in the afternoon. Arif leaves home early, therefore the sky looks gray. On the way, Arif reviews a short list of tasks and thinks about the week. Everything seems simple, after small surprises can change a day.
At the subway, a small problem begins: the rain starts without warning. People look confused and start asking questions. Arif suggests waiting near a sign while the announcements are clearer there. Tom arrives with two bottles of water, and they decide to stay patient.
They talk about plans in the morning. "We can still visit the new cafe later," Tom says. "Yes, and I want to see the bookshop too," Arif answers. Although the plan changes a little, they keep their good mood and watch the crowds.
After a few minutes, they decide to wait calmly and talk. The line moves again, and people relax. Arif and Tom continue with a simpler plan: one stop, then coffee, then home. The delay becomes a small lesson about time and patience, and the day turns out fine.
