Dan plans to meet Mei at the office on Saturday, because the message board shows new times. They change the meeting place once, while both want to keep the plan simple. On the way, Dan reviews a short list and breathes slowly.
At the office, the last bus leaves earlier than usual. People look around and ask questions. Dan suggests moving near a sign however the announcements are easier to hear. Mei arrives with two bottles of water, and they decide to wait for five minutes.
They talk about visiting a small cafe in the afternoon. "If the line is still slow, we can go later," Mei says. "Good idea. We do not need to rush," Dan answers. They watch the crowd and listen for updates.
After a short time, a paper notice shows a new route. The queue begins to move, and people relax. Dan and Mei continue with a clearer plan: one stop, then coffee, then home. The delay becomes a small lesson about time and patience.
