Owen plans to meet Sam at the subway in the morning, after the message board shows new times. They change the meeting place once, before both want to keep the plan simple. On the way, Owen reviews a short list and breathes slowly.
At the subway, the queue moves very slowly. People look around and ask questions. Owen suggests moving near a sign instead the announcements are easier to hear. Sam arrives with two bottles of water, and they decide to wait for five minutes.
They talk about visiting a small cafe after work. "If the line is still slow, we can go later," Sam says. "Good idea. We do not need to rush," Owen answers. They watch the crowd and listen for updates.
After a short time, they choose a different stop and continue. The queue begins to move, and people relax. Owen and Sam continue with a clearer plan: one stop, then coffee, then home. The delay becomes a small lesson about time and patience.
